Letter from the Chairman

Dear Partnership Member:

BWI Business Partnership’s Board of Directors announces that Ed Rothstein, Interim Executive Director, will be leaving us at the end of November 2018 so that he can pursue his work as a future Carroll County
Commissioner. Ed has proudly and superbly served BWI Business Partnership both as a Board Member and Interim Executive Director, helping to strengthen and forge relationships with BWI Thurgood Marshall International Airport, Fort Meade, and Arundel Mills. His work on behalf of Central Maryland has continued to solidify this region as an economic engine in the state.

In his time with us, Ed has elevated business, government, and community connections and partnerships, exhibited a passion for economic development and growth, and brought executive leadership to this
outstanding organization. We wish Ed the very best in his next chapter. He has been an outstanding colleague, friend, and supporter of this region for so long. We will certainly miss him and his leadership immensely.

We will be hearing more from Ed over the next few months as he continues to work with me, the Board, the Partnership Staff, and our Members. Ed will be providing essential leadership transition, working through November 2018. His last “Signature Breakfast” as Interim Executive Director will be in November where we will bid a fond “farewell” to Ed.
The Board of Directors is conducting a search for a full-time Executive Director to succeed Ed as Executive Director. Information regarding the search can be found on the Partnership's website.

As members of the BWI Business Partnership, I want to thank you for
your continued support of and involvement in the BWI Business Partnership. We look forward to forging a new future with YOU, our valued members, as we work to identify new executive leadership for our
thriving organization.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Thank you for your support of The BWI Business Partnership.

Sam Minnitte
Chair of the Board
